Greg Raymer Bio |
|
|
Greg Raymer, also known as ‘Fossilman’ because of the trademark fossil he keeps with him at the poker table as a good luck charm, was a corporate attorney for Pfizer until he won the 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event. Raymer was born in 1964 in Minot, North Dakota and was an Air Force brat. Greg received a BS in Chemistry from the University of Missouri, an MS in Biochemistry and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota. He started out playing blackjack at local Indian Casinos and then went to Poker. Greg and his family currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.
