Summary (6.3)

GNUF Poker is one of the newer online poker rooms within the Prima Poker Network. Based on the Microgaming software, GNUF is good as compared to its competition. Although the theme and color scheme leave a lot to be desired, the one thing this room has going for it is the tried and true Microgaming software, loaded with functionality.
Software (7)

As stated earlier, the color scheme and theme of GNUF Poker are a little disappointing, but the software in itself is good. Any online poker room that is part of the Prima Poker Network is going to be good, in terms of player options, accessibility, user-friendliness and functionality. Players have the ability to take notes on their competition, resize table and other filtering options are available. However, GNUF Poker is a bit lacking on the graphics side, as in it really doesn’t have much of a poker feel to the room. Again the big thing going for GNUF here is the fact that they are part of the largest network of online poker rooms.
Bonuses (4)

A bit of a disappointment at GNUF Poker is the initial deposit bonus that is currently 100 % up to $50. I guess the huge amount of promotions available somewhat makes up for it. Even so, it is quite easy to earn your bonus, but I would suggest that players do so by playing at the $1/$2 cash games. As per the terms and conditions of the bonus, players must clear 7 GNUF points for every $1 of bonus cash they receive.
Promotions (8)

This area seems to make up for the lackluster bonus at GNUF Poker. Plenty of promotions are currently going on at GNUF Poker and every so often GNUF will declare a random hand to be ‘magic’ and all players that are participating in that hand will receive a share of the Magic Hand Bonus of $2,500. You can also find jackpot sit-n-go tournaments where players can win up to $25,000. Plenty of freerolls, guaranteed games and a Bad Beat Jackpot are also available. Check back often to play WSOP and WPT satellite events.
Players (6)

No lack of players to go around as GNUF is part of the Prima Poker Network .All I can say here is, ‘wow, there is a lot so soft competition!’ The majority of the players at cash games stay at the medium to high stakes tables.
Variety (7)

There is a good variety of poker variations offered at GNUF. Players will find that they have the option to play Texas Hold’em, Omaha, 7-Card stud, 5-Card stud and 5-Card Draw. Players will also see a wide variety of freeroll and guaranteed games here. One nice thing about GNUF is that the 5-Card Draw tables seem to be very popular.
Site Traffic (6)

Site traffic within the Prima Poker Network, where GNUf is a part of, is typically pretty busy with an average of more than 20K players seated during peak times. That may seem like an awful lot but there are still online poker rooms that see more than 100K players. There are plenty of guaranteed tournaments here, available in all poker varieties and loads of freeroll games. WSOP and WPT satellite games will be offered in the near future.
Cash Games (7)

As with many other online poker rooms, the cash game traffic at GNUF is centrally located at the Texas Hold’em tables, usually the low to mid limit games. An interesting thing you will see here is that lots of times more than 50% of the total players on GNUF are seated at ring table games, while most other online poker rooms see only about a third of their total traffic at cash games. Occasionally you will find a couple players at the $200/$400 No Limit Hold’em Table, but it is rare.
Support (6)

A few support options are offered here but I’m not that convinced at their greatness yet, maybe the support is a little slower because of the vast amount of players on this network. Email support is available for non-emergent issues and customers are advised to use the toll free telephone support for urgent issues. You can always check the FAQ section on GNUF.com to see if your question can be answered there before email or phone support is needed.
Site Security (7)

Even though GNUF is part of the Prima Poker Network, this score will stay in the middle range until we see how security issues will be handled if any should come up.
Banking (5)

Deposit and cashout options are a bit limited here with Neteller, Click2Pay, Citadel Commerce, Wire Transfer, Visa and Mastercard the only ones available for either type of transaction. Deposit time is relatively quick but the cashout time can take a day or two.
